AI tools can greatly reduce the time HR employees spend on screening resumes, allowing more focused time for candidates who closely match job qualifications or company needs. There has been the introduction of software that automatically vets job applications without actual humans having to go through each and every application which is a very tiring task. It is also unbiased and fair in nature as a computer or program is not susceptible to bias to any religion, caste, or ethnicity. They just gauge skills and experiences which is the way it should be.

AI isn’t limited to candidate screening; it can be used during the interview process too, automating communication with applicants, collecting information from references, and analyzing performance tasks. Cybersecurity AI works by reviewing behavior patterns in a business’s software, apps, and stored information. By interpreting what employees and customers do with digital tools and how they do it, AI can recognize things that are relevant and acceptable — links, email messages, information inputs and time ranges for tasks.

By learning user trends and responses to different scenarios, AI can build better marketing campaigns and foster customer relations. This also helps find a better set of target audiences to curate ads and offers to their needs and mindset. These can then be marketed to them through social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. AI is also getting a lot of attention from the Federal Government in the States as a part of the ongoing trade and tech war between the US and China. So, there is a lot of headroom to progress in the field and one can actually receive subsidies and grants for research and utilization.

PIXEL 6A

A plethora of choices floods the under 50K segment of phones in India. It’s the sweet spot that offers bang-for-buck deals and is the range you should consider if you have the budget. There’s stiff competition from Samsung, One Plus, Xiaomi and Vivo. Although people in India are really sad that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro were not released, the 6A is a step in the right direction. It offers a watered-down display, cameras, and battery.

It faces its toughest competition from the Nothing Phone 1 and Samsung A53 5G. Both are incredibly capable phones. Nothing has the edge in novelty and cool factor while Samsung phones are known for their brand and reliability. Pixel, being a Google phone, comes with a host of pre-installed Google apps that the company incentivizes you to use. The highlight of the 6A is its Tensor chip.

Geek benches show that it isn’t as fast as the 8 Gen + 1 but you won’t notice the difference unless you game over sustained periods of duration. Some may argue that the 6A is expensive for what it offers and that’s true. It would have been a much better proposition if the 6A were priced under 40K. You can’t talk about Google phones without talking about the camera. There’s a dual camera system in place and shots captured sometimes look overly processed but are otherwise very natural, color accurate, and sharp.

The phone comes with a 4410 mAh battery that can last a day of light use but would have no problem killing it within a day if you take a lot of photos, do a lot of navigation, and all. The phone looks very much like a regular Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. It is only when you look closely that you notice that there are 2 cameras instead of 3. The sore point of the 6A is its display which is a 60Hz panel. You’d expect at least a 90Hz panel in this price bracket but you don’t get it in the 6A.

The display does not get as bright as you would want and I would not be surprised if you would be struggling on a sunny day to navigate through the device. You can consider buying the phone if you want a Google experience and the camera is really important for you but there are better options available.
