I got the 13 Pro Max Alpine Green 128GB about 9 weeks back following my A50 going crazy. The A50 was acting all haphazardly and the display had stopped responding well. It was not registering my touch and was instead freaking out, typing out on its own, closing and opening apps, and flashing insanely. So much so that it was typing random numbers in the password field on its own. This happened so many times that I woke up to my phone being disabled for 1 hour. There were also a whole host of other problems and that is why I decided to get the 13 Pro Max the same day for 90K. I got the 13 Pro Max instead of the 14 Pro Max because:
i) 50,000Rs cheaper
ii) the 14 Pro Max was not available in the entire Delhi-NCR region which is where I am from

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is hand-down one of the best iPhones of all time. Coming from a cheapo 18K phone, everything was going to be a huge upgrade for me. My A50 was 166g so the first thing I noticed was the weight as soon as I took off the peel. The phone is a colossal 240g. I had all the color options to choose from but went for the Alpine Green because it was the newest one and I had been digging that color ever since it came out. Moreover, I had the blue A50 so I did not want a blue phone again. The A50 was about 60GB full and I knew the 128GB would suffice. I did not get the USB-C charging brick because I had several USB-A cables and adapters lying about the house.

I have got a little used to the weight but it is still a lot and I have to switch hands every 60 seconds while taking a call. I did not get the Pro because it is very difficult to downsize from a 6.4-inch display and the battery of the Pro Max is just too powerful and intimidating. I am a student and thus do not use my phone very much. My use case ranges from 90-150 minutes a day and the phone lasts me 3 whole days on a full charge. The battery holds up pretty well even while using the camera which is something I cannot say about the 12 Pro that my father has. The standby time is great and I lose 0-3% of the charge in 7 hours.

The display is 6.7-inches and is the best display of any smartphone I have ever used (save for the 14 Pro). It is a 120Hz LTPO panel that can go up to 1000 nits of brightest and is extremely color accurate and has the best viewing angles. The colors were punchier on my A50 but I prefer the display calibration of the 13 Pro Max. The display is incredibly smooth to scroll through and I keep my phone on the dark model as a professional user should. I don't go out very often because I am holed up in my room studying and writing blogs for Dhruv Talks Tech but when I do go out, I don't face problems with display brightness even under direct sunlight. The warming problem that my father faced with the 12 Pro is still there but it is much cooler and it gets warm for a short period over a short area.

The Face ID works well and with IOS16, it even works in the landscape which I love. It also authenticates pretty securely as well. I have faced a bug in WhatsApp where the screen of WhatsApp would not cover the whole screen. This happened a couple of times but apart from that, the software experience has been surreal. I enjoy the stacks and clock widget. Let's talk about the cameras, shall we? I can't tell you how much I appreciate photographic styles and I believe that different filters now give you photos that are similar to ones processed by Samsung and Pixel which some people like. So, now you can have iPhone's details which have Samsung's punchier color palette. I keep it on normal or rich contrast.
The camera was the best one on the planet until the 14 Pro was launched.

The shifting between lenses is incredibly smooth and there is no noticeable drop in quality which would be apparent in the 11 series. The 3X optical zoom is just the right amount of zoom and the phone can go up to 15X digital zoom. The wide lens also doubles up as a macro camera and you can get close to the object. It is the best macro camera in the industry. I would say that there is room for a lot of improvement in the night sky photography department. Portraits are well executed but there could be better edge detection. The phone can shoot 4K 60fps videos and iPhone's video quality is even better than a DSLR's. The dual mic system picks up the sound well and makes it sound very natural.

I like the option to use the 3X telephoto camera for portraits as it allows one to take one without getting right into the face of the subject. You can't talk about the 13 series without talking about the cinematic mode. The cinematic mode has gotten a bit better with software updates and is the best out of any smartphone from 2021. It has the best blur, best edge detection and the ability to change the depth of field and focus after the video has been shot is game-changing. With the 14 Pro in the market, one can argue that the 13 Pro does not have as much detail and aperture and that's true. The 14 Pro's camera is much better. The 13 Pro Max has 12 megapixels for each of its 3 cameras. Lidar helps with mapping subjects better in the dark which improves portrait shots.

The A15 Bionic chip is extremely snappy the 6GB of RAM comes in handy. I never fully close my apps and they just stay in the app library. Even when I open the app 10 days later, it opens to the same page. I do not play any mobile games so I do not know how it holds up in that department but it is safe to say that the A15 is the most powerful chip of any smartphone on the planet and ahead of the current android chips by at least 2 years.

The stainless steel wrapped around the frame of the phone catches fingerprints before you touch it and are a pain to keep clean. They are very shiny and are almost like a piece of very fine expensive jewelry, especially on the Gold models. I wish there was USB-C but I am just dreaming. I plan to use the phone for at least 4 years and I do feel a bit sad about not experiencing the dynamic island but it was way too expensive. The phone takes about 3.5 hrs to go from 10% to 90% using a 5W charger and over 4.5 hours to go from 0 to full. The battery is one department where this phone is still the king thanks to battery drain on the 14 Pro due to the always-on display.

“When you zoom into UP and Bihar (states in northern India) you find aggression” states Emma Berlin , a tourist of the states. One piece of knowledge we all share in common about UP and Bihar is that the states lack social metrics. The land of culture and love is despaired by this crimson mark.

Uttar Pradesh, a home to dwellers more than that in Pakistan in total, and Bihar a land with residents equal to fifty percent of that in America, dearth the idea of birth control. India recently stated that they can’t let in refugees from Myanmar because they might have a situation of population crisis. This agitation originates mainly from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar increasing population. In 2020, the birth rate for Uttar Pradesh was 25.1 births per 1000 inhabitants. Furthermore, in 2020, the state of Bihar had the highest rural birth rate of 26.2 births per 1,000 inhabitants. “A region that fails to feed its citizens, has failed all its battles”. The immense population has fallen into a bog of poverty.

These states, being highly competitive in politics, attract illegal money and activities. In the past few decades, numerous governments have changed leading to a halt to a plenty of projects. If I keep on changing your science teacher every 10th day, will you be able to ever complete or understand your coursebook? The most prosperous places have highly innovative and astute governing bodies, to lead them towards prosperity. Whereas, In Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, politics is regarded as an inheritance and unhealthy competition rather than a governing body.

A large chunk of the population feeds themselves by labor work. Due to lack of capital, the population prefer unskilled work. Being a bosom of a large number of populations that lacks education and endures poverty, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar supply the greatest number of laborers throughout the country.
Orthodox has the power to pull an entire country backward. The people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar blindly follow dragging beliefs. This leads to the women finding it uneasy to work freely. Orthodox acts as a splint in the burning states with crime.
We can’t let our country behold the mark of such frailty. We don’t demand frequent changes in the government anymore, rather awareness of the well -being of a state. Let’s all work together for a brighter future.
